Creating communication spaces
Work environments are increasingly evolving into communication platforms, thus fostering creativity, innovation, and a sense of belonging within organizations. They serve as spaces for social interaction as well as interactive and focused work.
Hybrid ways of working interlace the analog and the digital realm, creating new links between formerly separated functional areas. We use the tools of the Programming® method to examine existing communication patterns, from which we derive specific spatial solutions and layouts. In doing so, we continuously integrate changing requirements of agile work environments into our workplace concepts.
Understanding processes
We assess the needs of all involved parties jointly with users, management and other stakeholders to define common goals for suitable work environments. Whether open-plan layouts or focused retreat zones – we consider different work typologies and analyze internal communication processes to derive specific programming requirements.
Translating into spaces
Based on the results of our analysis, we devise strategic workplace concepts, layouts, and test fits. At an early stage, we determine the spatial and visual relationships between user groups and specify the requirements for lighting and acoustics. From these findings, we derive future-proof workplace concepts that provide maximum support to people and organizations in their ways of working.
Continuous improvement
Once the users have moved into the building, we follow up with the client to ensure continuous improvement of the new workplace environment. For this purpose, we employ data-driven technologies and incorporate findings from user surveys.
