Top-out of ‘Der Bogen’ in Munich

‚Der Bogen‘, a mixed-use complex in Munich’s district Bogenhausen, has completed shell construction. The project, designed by HENN in collaboration with Matteo Thun & Partners and Ramboll Studio Dreiseitl, will bring together the people who live and work in the surrounding areas in one place. Completion is scheduled for 2024.
The design is based on the intersection of two three-legged building parts, whose facades differ in their color scheme - bronze and brass. Recesses and cutouts in the facade not only mark the entrances and courtyards, but also create an inviting and open gesture to the surroundings. On the first floor, some of the entrances and public areas are fully glazed. As a low-energy building, Der Bogen receives DGNB Gold pre-certification.
The multi-tenant building with seven and eight floors offers flexibly usable office rental space of different sizes. On the first floor, commercial space, catering facilities - such as a supermarket, bakery and café - and a gym are planned, which are accessible to both users and residents of the surrounding buildings. Urban, trapezoidal inner courtyards and green roof areas with views of the Alps serve as outdoor workplaces, spaces for exchange and local recreation.
