First patients welcomed at new Braunschweig Municipal Hospital
The first milestone in the transformation of Braunschweig Municipal Hospital has been reached: the new build east of the clinic complex has been completed and has welcomed its first patients.
After its completion in 2027, the new central clinic of Braunschweig Municipal Hospital will include an existing hospital building, the new east building, which is a redesigned shell structure, and a new addition, which is currently under construction. This transformation will create one of the largest hospitals in Germany – a state-of-the-art complex that provides efficient health care and is a pleasant place to work.
